
Bailee Frichtl, daughter of Eric and Kylee Frichtl, will be attending the Olney Central College as a part of the softball team. During her time at NCHS, Avery has been an active participant in activities including: volleyball all four years, softball all four years, Beta Club, Science Club, Illinois Aces Travel Softball.
What made you decide this school was the best fit for you?
I decided that OCC was the best fit for me because it felt like home. When I went and visited, I enjoyed the atmosphere around campus and I really enjoyed my time there.
How do you feel NCHS has prepared you for this next step in life?
NCHS has prepared me for this next step in life by challenging me in the classroom and having high expectations for all the students.
What are at least two life lessons you have learned from sports?
Two life lessons I have learned from sports would be to not give up when something does not go your way and to also focus on yourself and what you can improve.
How have your coaches helped you prepare you to play at a collegiate level?
My coaches have challenged me to be the best player I can be by having high expectations for their winning program. My coaches have also always supported me and made sure I felt valued.
What will you miss most next year not being at NCHS?
As I leave NCHS, the thing I will miss most is the friendships I formed with my classmates and teammates.
