The Embarras River Tourism Council sponsored a music program for the Birthday Celebration of Burl Ives. A special program was held about Burl Ives and his life by Peoria native Barry Cloyd along with local performer Ol’Ry. The event was held at Peterson Park and the performers sang and spoke to a crowd of 150 or more.
