Fire Department Responds to Cobblestone Hotel
8/20/2021 10:45pm: Police/Fire responded to a 911 call from the Cobblestone Hotel after a guest detected smoke from their room. The building was evacuated as a precaution, and the situation was contained by our fire department. No one was hurt. The matter is under investigation at this time.

Update on Suspicious Death in Jasper County
Ronnie Tolliver, 46, was pronounced dead at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital after the Jasper County Ambulance personnel responded to a residence on Ste.
