The 2024-25 NCHS Boys Basketball team.

On December 3, 2024 a caucus of the democratic and republican parties in Fox Township of Newton IL will be held at the Fox Township Building at 6 pm. The purpose is to nominate candidates for the following offices: road commissioner, township supervisor, township clerk, and four township trustees.

Jasper County held its annual Veterans Day program on November 11th. The Newton Marching Eagles performed to start the program.
