The new Jasper County 4-H Junior Livestock building was dedicated Sunday afternoon to Larry Casey. Larry’s wife, Jane, along with many family members visited the new building for the dedication event. The new 4-H building has been in full use during the 2021 fair and is currently full of animals
The 2021 Poultry Show was held on Sunday, June 20th in the Newton Larry Casey Junior Livestock Building. The building was dedicated to Larry Casey between the poultry and rabbit shows. The 2021 Jasper County Fair 4-H Cat show was held on Saturday, June 19t in the 4-H Building. Judy Burnell was the judge for the event and the winners were: Champion Cat Care Friends of 4-H Kohlten Barthelme Reserve Champion Cat Care Friends of 4-H Josie Vogt
Cloverbuds Darik Salyers, Hazel Frichtl, and Alayna Lingafelter showed their dogs during the 4-H dog show. Hannah Loy from Hannah’s Dog Grooming was the judge for the day.

JASPER COUNTY FAIR JR LIVESTOCK BUILDING DEDICATION The 150 th Jasper County Fair begins Sunday, June 20 and runs through the 26. The fair begins with shows being held in the new Larry Casey Jr. Livestock Building, and will house FFA and 4-H exhibits for the first time in 2021.
