The third distribution of the 2021 READ (Reading Excites All Dreams) program provided one last opportunity for students in Kindergarten through third grade to receive a book from the program. High school students and Ginger Robins dressed as book characters and read the books to the students.

The NCHS FFA brought animals, food, and tractors to Ste. Marie Elementary students when they visited. The FFA members who visited brought along tractors, pigs, cows, and chickens as well as peddle tractors. They taught the kids about the animals, the tractors, and farming related topics. The fourth grade students in Jasper County had the opportunity to learn about various safety topics at the annual Safety day sponsored by the University of Illinois Extension.
