The Newton Lady Eagle fresh soph team defeated Altamont with a final score of 50-33. The Indians and Eagles were tied at the end of the first with a score of 11 each. The Eagles had the lead at the half with a score of 19 to the Indians 15.

While the Martin twins dominated the court scoring 39 of the 69 points for the Lady Eagles during their win over Windsor/Stew-Stras, one basket brought the game to a halt as those present were able to watch Camryn Martin score her 1,000th point with 4:44 left in the second quarter.
