Chris Fascione was the performer for the July 2nd Summer Reading Program with the Newton Public Library. Chris is a storyteller and a juggler and kept the kids entertained for an entire hour with various juggling tricks and storytelling along with audience participation.
Several young people were in attendance to enjoy the program. On July 9, Usborne Books and more will be present at the final library summer program for 2019. Douglas-Hart Nature Center will be the guest at the free show beginning at 10:30 and ending at 11:30.
Ms. Ginger would like to invite everyone to the Usborne Books & More book fair at the Sunrise Community Center as part of the Newton Library’s storytime on Tuesday, July 9, 9:30-noon. “Library will receive 50% of the sales in FREE books for the library!!!!Come help the library get some new books and get some books for yourself to prevent the ‘summer slide’!
