Coach Fulton Recognized for 200 Career Wins at St. Anthony Game

Newton Varsity Eagles stayed in it until the end, but St. Anthony Varsity Bulldogs pulled away late in a 5-1 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at one with St. Anthony Varsity Bulldogs batting in the top of the seventh when Will Fearday singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

In the top of the sixth inning, St. Anthony Varsity Bulldogs tied things up at one when an error scored one run for St. Anthony Varsity Bulldogs.

Brock Fearday took the win for St. Anthony Varsity Bulldogs. Fearday went four innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out two and walking zero.

Brandon Einhorn took the loss for Newton Varsity Eagles. Einhorn lasted six and two-thirds innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out seven.

St. Anthony Varsity Bulldogs had five hits in the game. Fearday and Max Koenig all had multiple hits for St. Anthony Varsity Bulldogs. St. Anthony Varsity Bulldogs didn’t commit a single error in the field. Connor Roepke had four chances in the field, the most on the team.
