Today I am announcing the end of my campaign for State Representative in 2020. I have always
felt that my responsibility to my wife, five children, and church should take priority and I am no
longer able to give my campaign to serve as State Representative 100%.
This is an important race, I have always believed that. Darren Bailey has brought reform and a
strong conservative voice to Springfield, this seat needs to stay in the hands of a principled
conservative. If I were to stay in the race it would leave three names on the ballot, and one of
those candidates by their associations and previous actions has proven that they are unfit to
serve. Instead of staying in and possibly splitting the vote with another good candidate I have
decided to remove myself from the race and encourage the voters in the 109 th to support Adam
Niemerg. In the days ahead I will communicate the facts I know about both remaining
candidates.
Thank you to the supporters, it has really been overwhelming. Our fight to change Illinois for
the better should never be based on a party or a person, but the principles inscribed in the
Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. I will continue to fight
for, pray for, and speak for the restoration of Illinois.
