Jasper County Health Department will be holding a Covid Vaccination Clinic for the following eligible
individuals:
Age 65+
First Responders – Fire, law enforcement, 911 workers, security personnel, school officers
Education (Congregate Care, Pre-K through 12 th grade) – Teachers, Principals, Student Support,
Student Aids, Day Care Workers
Corrections Workers – Prison/Jail Officers, Juvenile Facility Staff, Workers Providing in-person
support
If you sign up for this clinic and do not meet these qualifications, you will not receive a vaccine.
This clinic will be a drive through clinic. It will be held at the Newton Community High School Bus
Maintenance Building. Individuals with appointments will be ask to line up on Decatur Street. Exit off of
South Van Buren Street onto Decatur street and proceed toward the high school until you reach the end
of the line.
Clinic will be held on Thursday, January 21 from 2:00 pm – 7:00 PM.
There is no need to get to the clinic early, as there will be vaccine for every single person with an
appointment.
