Fairfield scored their first two in the bottom of the third when Harrelson hit a homer to left field bringing in Taylor. The Eagles tied the game in the top of the sixth when Carder Reich doubled on a line drive to right field bringing in Payton Harris and Ben Meinhart. The bottom of the sixth brought the final scores of the game when Best grounded out to Gage Reynolds as catcher, bringing home Taylor. Harrelson scores on an error by Reynolds.
