Jasper County is gearing up for one of its most anticipated annual events — the 2025 Jasper County Fair, running from Sunday, June 22 through Saturday, June 28. With a packed schedule filled with traditional favorites, competitive exhibits, and entertainment for all ages, this year’s fair promises to be a celebration of community spirit, agriculture, and fun.
Early Preparations Begin in Mid-June
Although the official fair week kicks off on June 22, preparations begin early. On Saturday, June 14, entries for departments J, K, L, M, O, and P are accepted from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The following week on Friday, June 20, participants may begin bringing in their Floral Hall exhibits from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Judging for these exhibits will take place on Saturday, June 21, with entries accepted that morning and judging beginning at 1:00 PM.
Kicking Off the Fair with Pageantry and Racing
The fair officially begins on Sunday, June 22 with the much-loved Queen, Jr. Miss, Pre-Teen, and Little Miss Pageant at 7:30 PM. Then, the excitement hits the track with Harness Racing on Monday and Tuesday (June 23 and 24) at 6:30 PM both evenings.
A Celebration of Agriculture
Wednesday, June 25, is a big day for livestock competitions, including Beef, Junior Swine, Junior Beef, and Junior Goat Judging, beginning at 8:00 AM. Alongside these, the Pedal Tractor Pull at 6:00 PM and the Non-Sanctioned Tractor/Truck Pull at 5:00 PM provide fun and competition for attendees of all ages.
Thursday Thrills and Farm Equipment
Thursday brings the 4-H Auction at 3:00 PM, followed by the ITPA Tractor/Truck Pull at 7:00 PM. Then on Friday, June 27, visitors can enjoy the Antique Farm Machinery Show from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and stick around for the crowd-favorite Whippoorwill Rodeo starting at 7:00 PM.
Fair Finale: Dairy, Derby, and Wrap-Up
The fair concludes on Saturday, June 28, with Dairy Judging at 8:00 AM and Floral Hall Exhibit Pick Up from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The grand finale is the thrilling Demo Derby, set for 6:00 PM — always a fan favorite.
Carnival Fun All Week
From Monday, June 23 through Saturday, June 28, the carnival will be in full swing, offering rides, games, and delicious fair food for the whole family to enjoy.
