Family Tree Ministry Hosts October Food Pantry Distribution
The Family Tree Ministry of Scott Avenue Christian Church will hold its monthly Food Pantry Distribution on Thursday, October 23rd, at 5:30 p.m.
The event will take place at Scott Avenue Christian Church, 404 S. Scott Avenue, Newton, and is open to Jasper County residents. Participants are asked to bring bags and boxes, as they will come inside to pick up their items.
The Family Tree Ministry is guided by the message from Galatians 3:28 — “In Christ’s family there can be no division. Among us you are all equal.” The program continues to serve local families in need with the support of volunteers and donations from the community.
