The Legion, Sons of the American Legion, Auxiliary, 4-H groups and Church members, along with several volunteers will be out this week placing flags on the veterans graves through out Jasper county. We appreciate all the help in flagging 78 cemeteries in the county with nearly 3,000 veterans graves. Each cemetery will have a couple extra flags placed at their entrance if you happen to find a veterans grave that was missed. Efforts are made to flag every veteran but sometimes they can be missed and we regret that and that is why the extra flags are placed at the entrance. You may also message us and we will see that they have a flag and are listed on the cemetery list. If you happen to be in the cemetery when these volunteers are there, please give them a thank you for their help
