What made you decide this school was the best fit for you?

When I was choosing this school I mostly based it off the experiences that my family and friends have had there that were all good. I also love the idea of a community driven musical department that is open to everyone that wants to participate.

How do you feel NCHS has prepared you for this next step in life?

I feel that NCHS has prepared me by building me as a person, showed me how to be responsible with my work and, how to follow through and try my hardest with the things I do everyday.

What are at least two life lessons you have learned from your musical time at NCHS ?

Musical in NCHS has taught me that you can find a family outside of your own and that it is a privilege to have the people around me that experienced it with me. It has taught me how to be resilient and how important music is to me.

How have your instructors and/or directors helped prepare you to perform at a collegiate level?

They have taught me that you won’t be babied by anyone in your future and that commitment is important as it shows respect and responsibility.

What will you miss the most next year about not being a Newton Eagle?

I will miss the friends I made along the way and the bond with all my teachers that made me who I am now.
