It is “Scholarship Application” time! Jasper County HCE is accepting applications for their annual $500 scholarship to be awarded to an NCHS senior based on highest grade point average. Guidelines: students with a mother as an HCE member will receive first consideration. If no applicant meets this criteria, applicants with a grandmother as an HCE member will be considered for this award! Applications are available at the NCHS Guidance Office and the Jasper County U of I Extension Office in the Chamber of Commerce Building, Newton, IL. Application deadline is April 14, 2023. The winner will be announced at the Jasper County HCE Annual Meeting on Monday, April 24, 2023. The award will be presented at the NCHS Awards event in May.
