“If You Only Knew What It’s Like To Be A Single Mom”, will be our topic for our Push Ahead meeting on the evening of July 22, at 6:30 , Scott Avenue Christian Church. Please welcome former Newton resident, Sherry Weedman. She tells us:
My name is Sherry Weedman, I am married to Jim Weedman and we have been married for 30 years this year. We have 7 children and 20 grandchildren. I have been a single mom, a stay at home mom and a working mom. My husband and I are ordained pastors and worked with Ron and Joan Mulvey at The Potters House in Newton as an associate Pastors, started a branch of World Revival Church in North Kansas City and are getting ready to embark on a new adventure in Nashville, Tennessee! We will be on staff at a new church starting up called Hope UC Nashville with Pastor Dustin Smith.
