Jasper County Chamber of Commerce Honors Community Leaders at Annual Banquet

The Jasper County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the people, businesses, and organizations that help make Jasper County thrive during its Annual Banquet, an evening dedicated to recognizing excellence, service, and community impact.

One of the night’s highest honors, the Eagle Award, was presented to Lea Creadore and Twyla Harvey. The Eagle Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to Jasper County through leadership, service, and a lasting commitment to the community.

The Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Kevin Colclasure, honoring his outstanding service and the countless hours he has devoted to helping organizations, events, and initiatives throughout the county.

Recognizing long-standing local businesses, the Legacy Business of the Year Award was awarded to Birch’s Auto. The award celebrates businesses that have stood the test of time while continuing to serve customers with integrity, reliability, and a strong commitment to the community.

The Startup Business of the Year Award went to Newton Foods, recognizing the company’s successful launch, growth, and positive impact on the local economy in a short period of time.

In recognition of outstanding service to the community, the Non-Profit of the Year Award was presented to Blessings in a Backpack. The organization was honored for its mission to help fight childhood hunger by providing food to students in need, making a meaningful difference in the lives of local families.

The Annual Banquet serves as one of the Chamber’s signature events, bringing together business leaders, community members, and volunteers to celebrate success and reflect on the shared efforts that strengthen Jasper County year after year.
