Jasper County Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group will meet on Thursday, July 11th at 6:30 pm at St. Thomas School. The group meets each month on the second Thursday of the month at St. Thomas School at 6:30 pm.
Some months, there are speakers or activities, and other times the group just chats. The men and women of the group would like to welcome anyone to join them who has been and is going through the journey of miscarriage and/or pregnancy and infant loss. While the meetings are held in Newton, you do not have to reside in Jasper County to attend.
For the past two years, the group has participated in the National Wave of Light in October. The Wave of Light is a worldwide event remembering all of the babies who are gone too soon. Candles are lit in memorial of a baby you wish to remember or in memory of all the babies gone too soon for one hour on October 15th. Candles are lit from 7-8pm your time to create a “wave of light” across the world.
