The Jasper County Soil & Water Conservation District held a general election of directors on February 8 th . Voting took place at the SWCD office at 1403 Clayton Ave in Newton.
Matt Burgener, Ross Green, and Jeff Ochs. were elected to serve two-year terms.
Directors can officially take office after the first Monday in March. District board meetings are held the first Thursday of the month and are open to the public.
