The Jasper County Soil & Water Conservation District is accepting applications for their annual scholarship.
$1500.00 scholarships will be awarded to a senior that is a Jasper county resident or a recent high school graduate entering or enrolled in a natural resource, conservation, environmental science, biology or an agriculture related major.
Scholarships will be based on GPA, participation and need. The District Board will make the final decision on number of scholarships to be awarded.

All applications are due by the close of business March 1, 2024 at the Jasper Co. SWCD 1403 Clayton Ave. Newton, IL 62448.
The winners will be announced at the Newton Community High School Awards Night. Payments will be issued once a receipt has been provided showing payment of one of the following items: tuition, books, room and board, etc.
