The Board of Education for Jasper County Community Unit School District #1 has a vacancy on the school board to serve until the next regular school board election to be conducted in April of 2021 and is currently accepting applications from district residents interested in serving on the school board.
Applicants must provide their current residence in the school district, a letter indicating why they would like to serve on the school board and a list of their qualifications.

The Jasper County School District is divided into eleven (11) townships (Crooked Creek, Fox, Grandville, Grove, Hunt City, North Muddy, South Muddy, Smallwood, Ste. Marie, Wade and Willow Hill) for the purposes of conducting school board elections. It is preferred, but not required, that applicants verify their eligibility to serve on the board for this vacancy.
