The Jasper County 4-H Swine Show featured outstanding competition across breeding, market, and showmanship divisions, with exhibitors showcasing months of hard work and dedication.
Leading the market competition was Jax Judson, who earned both Champion Purebred Barrow and Champion Crossbred Barrow before capturing the coveted Grand Champion Market Animal title. Reed Tharp claimed Reserve Champion Crossbred Barrow and finished as the Reserve Grand Champion Market Animal.
In the breeding gilt divisions, Reed Tharp exhibited the Champion Purebred Breeding Gilt and went on to earn Grand Champion Breeding Gilt honors. Ryan Spiker won Champion Crossbred Breeding Gilt and was selected as the Reserve Grand Champion Breeding Gilt. Mitchell Spiker earned Reserve Champion Purebred Breeding Gilt, while Melah Goebel received Reserve Champion Crossbred Breeding Gilt.
The market gilt championship went to Melah Goebel, with Karlee Pitcher earning Reserve Champion Market Gilt.
Showmanship winners demonstrated exceptional knowledge and handling skills throughout the competition.
