The JCJH Eagles baseball team won the regional championship game versus Casey-Westfield with a final score 7-1. Chance Mulvey singled scoring one run, Eli Wolf tripled, scoring two runs and an error scored one run all in the third inning.
Wolf started the game for the Eagles and gave up four hits and one run over six innings while striking out eight and walking three. Mulvey threw one inning giving up zero hits, striking out two and walking one.
The leadoff hitter for the Eagles was Mulvey who went two for four at bat. Cylas Dickerson and Maddox Horner each stole multiple bases for the Eagles. The Eagles stole seven bases throughout the game.
The Eagles will face Teutopolis Jr. High on Saturday at 11 am in T-town.
