On November 19, the Newton Rotary Club was visited by Jenna Yealick (left) and Eli Weber (center), Juniors and Newton High School and participants in the CEO Program which they spoke about. They described how the CEO class meets at various businesses in our area, to see first-hand how decisions are made. The students learn communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills that are essential in the business world. CEO has a class project “Game Show”, a program open to the public, which will be held in January. Chairperson for the day was Rotarian Bill Heap (right). New Rotary member Sarah Kinkade, Chamber Director (not pictured), was also inducted at this meeting.
