In Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Griffin will portray Simeon. Griffin is the son of Randy and Lori Smith.
What musicals have you been in at NCHS and what characters/roles did you play?
Cinderella as a cast member and Simeon in Joseph
What was your favorite musical and why?
My favorite musical was Cinderella because my friend Alex Rodriguez was in the musical as well.
What scene in Joseph is your favorite and why? (This does not have to be a scene you are in)
My favorite scene in Joseph is Those Canaan Days where we were sitting around playing cards and singing. It was the most fun to act out.
What are three things being in the musical have taught you? and how have you learned these?
I have learned to be on time, practice makes perfect and how to get along with others you normally wouldn’t spend a lot time with.
What are two pieces of advice you would give young people who want to start performing in musicals at NCHS?
I would suggest they do it because it would be fun and you won’t regret it.
What qualities do you see exemplified in the adults who help put on this show that you will take with you as you leave NCHS and how do they demonstrate these qualities?
The adults were kind, showed motivation and were happy. When you mess up, they didn’t yell instead they would laugh it off and let you try again.
What will you miss the most once the final curtain closes on your NCHS musical career?
I will miss seeing the friends I made.
