Joseph Bryan Washburn, 58, of Newton, IL passed away at 8:46 AM,
Sunday, January 3, 2021 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Joe was born
October 4, 1962, son of William and Arlene (Adamson) Washburn.
Preceding Joe in death ware his parents and brother-in-law, Charles
McKemie.
Joe leaves behind a daughter, Lilly, and six siblings- two sisters and four
brothers. Siblings include Glenda Martin (Fred) of Charleston, IL, William
(Washburn (Jane) of Flint, TX, Jewell McKemie of Indianapolis, IN, Charles
Washburn (Sandy) of Casey, IL, Ed Washburn of San Tan Valley, AZ, and
Michael Washburn (Gay) of Medicine Lodge, KS. Nieces, Nephews, cousins, and
friends will miss joe.
Joe proudly served in the United States Army. He reenlisted two times.
Joe had a kind heart and loved deeply.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery
in Marshall, IL with military rites. The Barkley Funeral Chapel is assisting the
family with arrangements.
