Judy Jean Houser, age 72, of Rose Hill, Illinois, passed away at 9:27 PM – Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Illinois.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Peterson Park in Newton, Illinois. In loving memory of Judy, memorials to assist with expenses may be made to Meyer Funeral Home, 307 West Jourdan Street, Newton, Illinois 62448. Judy was born on July 21, 1953, in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Ruby (Woods) Songer and Lloyd Songer. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Jim Songer.
