Justin A. “Pitty” Pittman, age 32, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 11:40 AM – Thursday, June 22, 2023, in Effingham, Illinois.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 to 6:00 PM – Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the West End Event Center, 202 Museum Drive, Newton, Illinois 62448. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Justin’s son Kylan, for future expenses, and can be made via the Go Fund Me link below or brought to the Celebration of Life. Justin was born on October 16, 1990, in Effingham, Illinois. He loved his son Kylan more than anything in the world. He was always so proud to be his father and made sure Kylan was always happy, healthy, and well taken care of. Justin built a great support system of friends to also shower Kylan with so much love.
Justin was the most loyal friend anyone could have and never knew a stranger. He had a natural talent for bringing people together and making every single one of his friends feel like the most important person in his life. Whether it was through sports, work or sharing a can of the “Nectar of the God’s”, he made a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Justin attended Newton High School and graduated with the Class of 2009. He currently worked at Steven’s Industries. He enjoyed playing softball, baseball, bowling, darts and was a passionate fan of the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Cardinals.
Justin is survived by his son Kylan Tucker; brother Kyle (Jessa) Pittman; nephews Zhane and Maddox Pittman; uncles Terry (Jane) Lewis, and Kevin (Kitty) Lewis.
Justin was preceded in death by his mother Debra Lynn (Lewis) Pittman, grandparents Don and Joyce Lewis and aunt Donna Lewis.
