Kent and Linda Hetzer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, September 4th. They were married at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham. Parents of the couple are Vera Hetzer and the late Arlen Hetzer and the late Clarence and Gladys Sieben.
They are the parents of three children Kimberly (Clint) Burnell of Naperville, Mark (Tami) Hetzer of Wheeler, and Brian Hetzer of Chicago.. They have four grandchildren: Eric and Caleb Burnell and Alexis and Kayden Hetzer.
Kent is a lifelong farmer in Jasper County and Linda was a jewelry sales representative for 25 years.
