“Our girls played very well in both games today. It took a lot of effort to knock off the defending champs Brownstown-St.Elmo. They played very well together with a team effort on both ends of the floor. It was very encouraging to see them finish strong in that first game.  In the second game, the girls battled through fatigue to get the win over Dieterich. I was proud of their effort throughout the game. They never backed down and we had a lot  of players contribute on each end of the floor.
It was a good first day of the tournament. We will need the same energy throughout the rest of
the tournament.” – NCHS Head Coach Brad Harris
