The Newton Lady Eagles went 2-1 in the Bob Kerans Tournament over Thanksgiving break. They won their first game against Flora. The second game versus Altamont was also a win for the Lady Eagles with a final score of 55-43. In a close game, the Eagles led at the end of the first and second quarters with scores of 16-13 and 30-25. At the end of the third quarter, the Eagles were still ahead by 2 (38-36) and when the final buzzer sounded the Eagles won the game.
