The Lady Eagles won their opening game of the season at home against the Flora Wolves with a walk-off 4-3 win. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the seventh when Bailee Frichtl singles scoring one run.
The Flora Wolfgals opened the scoring in the first with a single scoring one run. The Lady Eagles were able to tie the game in the bottom of the third when the Wolfgals commit an error.
The Wolfgals took the lead in the top of the fourth but the Eagles regained the lead when a home run to right field was hit by Camryn Martin bringing the score to 3-2. The Wolfgals tied the game at the top of the seventh.
Amelia Collins opened the game for the Lady Eagles. She gave up six hits and three runs (two earned) over seven innings striking out nine and walking three.
Martin, Frichtl, Lexie Grove, Avery Mulvey, and Lilly Kessler each collected one hit for the Eagles. Martin went one for three at the plate as the infielder led the team with two runs batted in. The Eagles turned two double plays in the game.
