The Newton Lady Eagles won the Olney Volleyball Tournament on September 7th. In pool play they defeated Edwards County and Mt. Zion. Advancing to the gold bracket the Eagles defeated Fairfield and ALAH and St. Anthony. Earning a spot on the all-tournament team was Sally Mahaffey, Bailee Frichtl, and Allie Hermann.
