
Landen Blake, son of Eric and Jamie Blake, will be attending Greenville University as a part of the football team. During his time at NCHS, Landen has been an active participant in activities including: Football 4 years, FFA, and two years of basketball.
What made you decide this school was the best fit for you?
1. I decided to go to Greenville University because of the amazing coaching staff, the remarkable culture of the football program, and the great Criminal Justice program.
How do you feel NCHS has prepared you for this next step in life?
2. NCHS has helped me learn to find the balance between extracurricular activities and studying. NCHS has also shown me how to manage time.
What are at least two life lessons you have learned from sports?
3. Football has taught me what it means to be on time, prepared, and the meaning of physical and mental discipline.
How have your coaches (and assistant coaches) helped prepare you to play at a collegiate level?
4. My coaches prepared me to play at the next level by teaching me to never give up, to be the best player possible, to hold my teammates, and myself accountable at the most crucial times.
What will you miss the most next year about not being at NCHS?
5. The thing that I will miss most at NCHS is the brotherhood made with all my teammates within the past four years.
