Leroy Schackmann, age 65, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 10:30 AM – Sunday, October 20, 2019, at home, surrounded by his family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM – Thursday, October 24, 2019, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton, Illinois, with Fr. Dean Probst offering Mass. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 PM – Wednesday, October 23, 2019.

Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Newton, Illinois.

Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.
