What made you decide this school was the best fit for you? –

I really like the campus and how it is close to home so my family can still come and watch me play softball. Being close to home I know of some people that play on the softball team and my former teammate Kayla Kocher plays so it will be easier to fit in and be closer with my team.

How do you feel NCHS has prepared you for this next step in life?-

I feel like NCHS has pushed me to be my best self in my 4 years of high school on the field and in the classroom. The teachers and my coaches always make sure you are on the right foot and are always there to help you if needed. High school has taught me a lot of lessons and I have learned a lot these last 4 years.

What are at least two life lessons you have learned from sports?

One thing I have learned is that you can’t let one thing define you as a player. If you make an error on the field go back out there and try even harder to do something better. Another thing that I have learned is to always have fun. When you are having fun on the field you play better and more freely. It also really helps your team and can influence them to play more freely.

How have your coaches (and assistant coaches) helped prepare you to play at a collegiate level?

My coaches have really done a lot for me in my time at NCHS they have prepared me by holding me accountable and helping me remember to keep my head up and be a leader no matter what.

What will you miss the most next year about not being at NCHS?-

I will miss the sporting events and the atmosphere that comes with is. I will also miss my teammates along with my classmates.
