What made you decide this school was the best fit for you?

OCC was the best choice for me because it was close to home but still opened up huge opportunities for me and my future.

How do you feel NCHS has prepared you for this next step in life?

Since being so involved during high school I think the communication skills and determination I learned will help me in this next phase of my life.

What are at least two life lessons you have learned from your musical time at NCHS ?

While being involved in the musicals at NCHS I have learned the concept of time management and patience. The time it takes to put together a show and the amount that each person has to contribute makes prioritizing essential

How have your instructors and/or directors helped prepare you to perform at a collegiate level?

When it comes to singing, helping someone to be better can often be difficult. I can confidently say I have had the best assistance at making my specific voice and talents develop.

What will you miss the most next year about not being a Newton Eagle?

I think I will miss the people the most. Being able to learn and grow around all people that I am comfortable with was one of the biggest blessings during my high school career. I have been singing with some of my peers for over 10 years and that type of bond is something I could never replace.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I am so excited about this opportunity and am thankful for my friends and family who helped me to get here!
