
The Jasper County Farm Bureau® is pleased to announce that Lindsey Vogt has been promoted to the position of Assistant Manager of the Clark and Jasper County Farm Bureaus. Clark and Jasper County Farm Bureaus have been in a shared management arrangement since 1993.
With this new position, it is the Counties goal to strengthen Farm Bureau®’s presence in both counties, develop new programming, and continue to strengthen the Ag in the Classroom program.
Lindsey is a 2005 graduate of Newton Community High School, she graduated from Lakeland College in 2007 with an Associate of Science degree in Agriculture, in 2009, Lindsey graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, and Student taught at Casey-Westfield High School.
Lindsey was hired in 2010 by the Jasper County Farm Bureau® as the Ag Literacy Coordinator to develop, implement, and oversee the Ag Literacy program in Jasper County Schools. Since then, she has developed a successful program, reaching over 550 students each month. Lindsey has also developed the current Summer Ag Institute offered to teachers in Jasper County on how to incorporate agriculture into the classroom.
Lindsey belonged to the Lake Land Ag Transfer Club, was on the Lake Land Student Government, was a Lake Land Student Ambassador, a member of Phi Theta Kappa, and was active in 4-H and FFA.
Her and her husband Kevin reside in Jasper County with their 5 children.
