What made you decide this school was the best fit for you?

Greenville has a small campus and it is compacted, which it will make traveling more easier for me. Their financial aid package is really good as well and to top it off, their staff and coaches are amazing and welcoming.

How do you feel NCHS has prepared you for this next step in life?

I think NCHS have given me a good guide of my next step in life. The tough dual credit classes and having career prac with someone you know makes it so much easier.

What are at least two life lessons you have learned from sports?

First lesson was to never give up on your goals/dreams. There are many people that want to compete or be in the next level of sports or jobs. Second lesson is great things take time. Being patient and take your time with your goals can lead to big things that you accomplished.

How have your coaches (and assistant coaches) helped prepare you to play at a collegiate level?

My Cross Country coaches and Track Coaches have guiding me towards the steps that I need by doing uncomfortable workouts that me and the team have not done before. Also learning how to push hard to moments that matter more is helping me prepare to perform in college.

What will you miss the most next year about not being at NCHS?

I believe the young fellas in Track and Cross Country and Band. The staff I’ll miss too because they taught the material I need. The friends, loved one and family will be missed at NCHS.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I’ll like to thank my coaches, teachers, my girlfriend, Paige, my friends, my principal, the freeze employees and the community of support and appreciation that they have given me to move on to the next step.
