The Newton Marching Eagles placed second in Class 2A competition at Eastern Illinois University out of 21 schools. The Eagles also received Best Drum Major and. Best Auxiliary.
The Eagles will travel to Metamora on Saturday, October 12 where they will perform at 8 pm.
