The Newton Marching Eagles competed at the Monticello Marching Sages Invitational and placed first in Class 2A and received the following auxiliary awards: Best Color Guard, Best Percussion (tied with Paris), and Best Music. The Eagles will perform at Robinson this coming Saturday.
