Max Meinhart who started the Lawrenceville game for the Eagles let up 5 hits and 2 earned runs over six innings as the Eagles defeated a very solid Lawrenceville Indians team. Gus Bierman came in relief of Max in the 7th inning and pitched two innings of no run ball with 3 strikeouts and 0 walks. The game was tied at 0-0 until the 5th when Lawrenceville player Emery Ivers doubled, scoring two. The Eagles tied the game up in the bottom of the 6th thanks to a groundout rbi for Peyton Harris and a Lawrenceville error. The game went into extra innings where Gus Bierman doubled in the bottom of the 8th scoring two runs and winning the game for the Eagles.
Carson Barthelme started for the Eagles against Neoga giving up only 3 hits and 0 runs in 5 innings, and striking out 4 with 0 walks. Drake Wolf relieved him in the 6th pitching one inning of no run ball with 1 strikeout. The Eagles jumped out to the lead in the first inning. After Peyton Harris singled, scoring one run, Max Meinhart hit a sacrifice fly, scoring 2 runs, and Gus Bierman singled, scoring one run. In the 6th inning Flowers doubled, scoring one run, Gavin Meinhart drew a walk, scoring one run, Gus Bierman drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Luke Farley singled scoring one run, and Flowers doubled, scoring 2 runs. Newton amassed 13 hits in the game. Wolf and Reed Tharp each collected multiple hits for the Eagles. Flowers led the Eagles with 3 hits and 2 walks. Overall the team had 8 walks.
