The Choir and the Drama Team of the First Baptist Church of Newton will
present Messiah: Heaven’s Glory an Sunday, December 15 th , 6 p.m., at FBC
which is located at 400 W. Washington in Newton.
Long ago, a Baby was born in Bethlehem that would change the world. He
came as our Messiah, to redeem and deliver us. Messiah (Heaven’s Glory), a
Christmas Musical arranged by Russell Mauldin, with an original first-person
drama written by Eric Schmidt of First Baptist Church, celebrates the coming
Messiah with a worshipful retelling of the Christmas story.
Combining selections from Handelʼs Messiah, popular Christmas carols,
and contemporary worship songs, will listen with joy and celebration as you
worship the newborn King, born to save us all.
