Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Kocher, of Newton, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on September 14, 2020.
Jerome Kocher and Jeannette Ritz were married September 14, 1960 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Ste. Marie.
They are the parents of John (Becky) Kocher, of Dundas, Cindy (Ervan) Volk, of Newton, Steve (Lori) Kocher, of Newton, Elaine (Brent) Marhall, of Aurora, IN, and DeAnn (Larry) Dorn, of Olney.
They have 13 grandchildren, Rachel (Eric) Frye, Blake (Hannah) Kocher, Justin Volk, Kurt (Richelle) Volk, Kiley (Neil) Borgic, Mallory (Cory) Shamhart, Chelsea Kocher, Rhett Kocher, Taylor (Matt) Keith, Jordan (Nolan) Rollins, and Gavin, Maddox, and Knox Dorn. They also have 9 great- grandchildren with another one expected soon. A card shower is being planned.
