PRESS RELEASE
We are excited to continue our plans for the upcoming seasons. Listed below are the protocols
that will be followed for Newton Football home games:
All spectators, players, coaches and officials are expected to adhere to IDPH guidelines.
There will be no admission fee nor concessions available.
Tickets will be required for stadium seats. There are no reserved seats this year.
Each NCHS Junior and Senior participant (players and cheerleaders) will receive four (4)
stadium seating tickets to use as they wish for each home varsity game.
Each NCHS Freshman and Sophomore participants, as well as coaches, will receive three
(3) stadium seating tickets to use as they wish for each home varsity game.
Any additional spectators should maintain social distance around the field.
Fans attending JV football games are asked to social distance in all areas.
The following opponent personnel will be granted entry to NCHS:
Players
Coaching staff
Team Manager(s)
Cheerleaders
One videographer
Stats
School administrator
Athletic Trainer (NCHS will have a trainer at all of our events)
Bus Driver
NCHS will live stream all home football games on www.nfhsnetwork.com Search for
Newton, IL High School and “Follow” us. No subscription is required thanks to the
Newton Athletic Boosters. The stream for some road games may require a subscription.
Streaming links for road games will be publicized periodically.
Home varsity games will be broadcast on 103.5 FM, WIKK
The visiting team will receive 150 tickets in the mail to distribute as they wish. Those
tickets will be necessary for admission to the visitor bleachers on the north side of the
field.
Locker rooms will be available for small groups of players and coaches before, during
and after games.
There will be a maximum of two visiting radio personnel in the press box. No print
media in the pressbox.
