The NCHS Student Council hosts several events throughout the year both benefiting the community and the students at NCHS. Recently, the council set up the activities for Freshman Orientation. During Homecoming Week, the Student Council starts off the week with Flick on the Field. The council invites the students and community to view a movie which is projected on the side of the building at NCHS. This event will be held on Sunday, October 6th.
The student council also hosts blood drives throughout the school year in the high school gym. The group also hosts the back to school dance and the winter semi-formal as well as community service projects including collecting wrapping paper at Christmas time for the 1 Stop Shop.
