The Newton Aquatic Center is preparing for another summer season with open swim, water aerobics, lap swim opportunities, swim lessons, and pool rentals available for the community throughout the summer.
Aquatic Center management says the facility strives to provide a “safe, clean, friendly, family-oriented facility” and asks all visitors to follow posted rules and guidelines to help ensure a positive experience for everyone.
Aquatic Center Rules and Guidelines
Management reserves the right to refuse admission or remove anyone not following facility rules. Fighting, profanity, bullying, and rough or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Additional rules include:
- No smoking or vaping
- No alcohol permitted on the premises
- No outside food or drinks except water
- Food and drinks must be consumed in the concession area
- Swim diapers are required for small children
- The facility is not responsible for lost or stolen items
Children age 13 or those entering 7th grade may enter without supervision. Children under 13 must be accompanied and supervised by someone age 15 or older.
For the water slide, swimmers must be at least 48 inches tall. Floats, life jackets, and goggles are not permitted on the slide, and only one rider is allowed at a time.
Open Swim and Admission
General admission is $4 for ages 4 and older.
Open Swim Hours
- Monday through Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Adult Lap Swim
- Monday through Friday:
- 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
When students return to school in August, morning sessions will transition to water aerobics, with adult lap swim held from noon to 1:00 p.m. General admission on weekends will run from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. through the remainder of the season.
Water Aerobics
Water aerobics costs $4 per session or is included with a season swim pass.
Session Times
- Monday-Friday mornings:
- 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
- 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
- Evening sessions:
- 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
2026 Season Pass Rates
Family passes are available for individuals living in the same household.
- 1 person: $90
- 2 people: $140
- 3 people: $170
- 4 people: $200
- 5 people: $230
- 6 or more people: add $30 for each additional person
A 6-visit punch pass is also available for $20.
Pool Rentals
Private pool rentals are available by reservation only.
Rental Availability
- Monday-Sunday:
- 7:00 p.m.
- 9:00 p.m.
A limited number of Saturday and Sunday morning rentals are also available from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Rental cost is $200, with a $75 non-refundable deposit due at booking. Parties must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
The pool is closed to the public during private rentals. Outside food and drinks are allowed during rentals but must remain in the concession area. Alcohol is prohibited.

Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons are offered throughout the summer at various times.
Lessons cost $40 and include:
- 4 sessions
- 30 minutes each
