Newton JV Baseball traveled to Paris on Tuesday, March 29, 2022

Newton opened up the scoring by getting 7 runs in the 2nd inning highlighted by a grand slam hit by Logan Ochs. Paris answered in the bottom of the 2nd with 6 runs. Paris tied the game in the 3rd inning 7 to 7. The game stayed tied until the 6th inning when Newton once again scored 7 runs to take a 14 to 7 lead.
Paris added 2 in the bottom of the 6th inning. Paris scored 3 more in the bottom of the 7th as Newton held on for the 14-12 victory.
